Tight End is owned by Steven Alex, who also owns X-Bar. The slices were enormous! Three Guys and Tight End share the same hours of 3 pm to 11 pm. All the food is made in-house, by hand, and to order. Patrons of Streets will be familiar as it’s the same business and owners. For now, all the bar’s food comes from the pizzeria. Tight End sh ares a space with an amazing New Y ork-style pizzeria, Three Guys Pies. There was no shortage of big screens featuring games of many different sports from all over. On this Friday afternoon, the tables were full of a nice mix of people. I t was a perfect image of a thriving scene despite Covid restrictions. Located on Colfax a block away from the Denver Pride Center, it takes the space of Streets, a punk bar. On Wednesday, I went to check out Denver’s newest gay bar and first LGBTQ-oriented sports bar, the wonderfully named Tight End Sports Bar.
